Part of an Old Armory in Denver, coverted to a B&B:
A Tiny door as I take to the road for Phoenix. More on that trip later:
Today’s door, from the First Floor Interior Main Hallway T-intersection:
When you turn right at the intersection above, you’re headed towards the Elevators…..More Doors, Right? And you are looking towards the main entrance door from the lobby at the end of this hall.
And some interior details:
These images are from a Doors Open Denver tour in 2014, sponsored by the Denver Architecture Foundation.
The Front Doors from the Inside…….
We toured the New Courthouse soon after it opening in 2016. Of course the Thursday Doors gives me an opportunity to share now with my new Blogger Friends.
The Court of Appeals is located in the First Floor Lobby and the first Doors you see upon entry.
Below, Typical Courtroom Doors:
And just a really nice hallway:
Our Doors Open Denver Tour was led by then Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court, Nancy Rice, who was involved in the design of the Building. She was a Great Tour Guide because she loved the building!
See more from the Tour Here. Some nice windows too that I will have to post some Wednesday…..
#ThursdayDoors
I realized that I had no Door planned for today. OMG! And I had just been sorting doors yesterday. So I’m giving you one of my Indoor Doors. From the Denver Architecture Foundation’s Doors Open Denver, the Evans School:
You know that I like interior spaces. I know that I photographed the main entrance…. when I find it I will post it!
I liked the cropped one best:
As usual I get Special Recognition of some kind…………We’ve discussed what that might mean before.
But I like the Light Space and Time Gallery………I think that they are Fair, so I’ll Keep supporting them. Check it out and consider sending something in.
As You read this I will be in surgery for my brain tumor; thoughts, prayers and well wishes appreciated. And the image below will be ‘unpinned’ from my Twitter page, because hopefully after my surgery I will have clarity and not ambiguity…..
I also want to explain how my ‘medical updates’ will intertwine with my normal Photographic Posts.
And this is the ONLY time you will ever see a Biblical Quote here, but you will see the connection:
1 Corinthians Chap 13 verse 12: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”Â
All of my Journey Updates will start with the heading: “Through the Glass” And I have added that tag to take you directly to these updates if you are interested. I hope that you can see it refers to the Ambiguity of what I am facing. That what made this image so timely.
Now Showing at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center and sponsored by the Denver Architectural Foundation:
Sometimes you see an image, and know that it has to be captured, even if an unconventional subject.
Which Crop do You Prefer?
I think what I really like is the water fountain. So maybe I’ll try a closer crop?
